These Terms of Service ("Terms") describe our commitments to you, and your rights and responsibilities when using our services. Please read them carefully and reach out to us if you have any questions.

Terms of Services

These Terms govern your access to and use of icoeps.org, as well as all content and icoeps.org products and services (for example, lists, webinars, memberships and accreditations) available at or through these website.

These Terms also govern visitors’ access to and use of any websites that use our Services, that are operated by our users. Please be aware of our Privacy Policy.

Our Services are offered subject to your acceptance, without modification, of all of the terms and conditions contained herein and all other operating rules, policies, and procedures that may be published from time to time by iCOEPS (collectively, the “Agreement”). You agree that we may automatically upgrade our Services, and the Agreement will apply to any upgrades.

Please read the Agreement carefully before accessing or using our Services. By accessing or using any part of our Services, you agree to become bound by the Agreement. If you do not agree to all the terms of the Agreement, then you may not access or use our Services.

1. Who’s Who

Throughout these Terms, “you” applies to both individuals and entities that access or use our Services. If you are an individual using our Services on behalf of an entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to the Agreement and that by using our Service(s), you are accepting the Agreement on behalf of that entity.

Definitions

User: Any person who visits our website.
Member: Any user who, in compliance with the requirements, has decided to opt for one of our memberships and has been approved at any of the levels offered: Green, Gold, Blue or Team.
Affiliate: Any member who has decided to be a part of and has been approved in the referral program that allows him or her to generate commission income.
Certificate: Any member who has received an iCOEPS certificate after demonstrating their competencies in the field that is certified.
Accredited: Refers to a training program that has received the iCOEPS accreditation seal corresponding to the standards defined for the development area, whether emotional, personal or spiritual.

2. Our List and Your Account

Where use of our Services requires an account, you agree to provide us with complete and accurate information when you register in our list or when you register for an account. This is important because sometimes we may need to send you notable updates (for example, about changes to our Terms of Service or Privacy Policy), or we may want to let you know about and make informed choices in response to legal inquiries or complaints.

You will be solely responsible and liable for any activity that occurs under your account. You are responsible for keeping your account information up-to-date and for keeping your password secure.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any Service-related website, store, or other content, and you are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account and any other actions taken in connection with our Services. You shall not share or misuse your access credentials. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized uses of your account, store, or website, or of any other breach of security. We will not be liable for any acts or omissions by you, including any damages of any kind incurred as a result of such acts or omissions.

When you send any of our contact or service forms and / or if you have an icoeps.com account, we consider that as a relationship of interest about our products and services, which means that we can contact you to share more details about what we have to offer. Do not worry; if you are not interested in getting more information, you can choose not to receive marketing communication, be it an email, a phone call or a text message.

3. Minimum Age Requirements

Our Services are not directed to children. Access to and use of our Services is only for those over the age of 18 (or 16 in the European Union). If you are younger than this, you may not register for or use our Services. Any person who registers as a user or provides their personal information to our Services represents that they are 18 years of age or older (or 16 years or older in the European Union).

4. Responsibility of Visitors and Users

We have not reviewed, and cannot review, all of the content (such as, but not limited to, text, photo, video, audio, code, computer software, items for sale, or other materials) posted to our Services by users or anyone else and are not responsible for any use or effects of such Content. We also have not reviewed, and cannot review, all of the material, including computer software, made available through the websites and web pages that link to, or are linked from icoeps.org or our other Services.

All content on this website, such as texts, graphics, logos, seals, icons, images, audios and videos, digital downloads, data and software compilations, is our property or the property of our licensors or licensees, and The compilation of the contents on the Website is our exclusive property, protected by the laws of the United States of America and by the international laws of «copyright», treaties and conventions.

Our brands may not be used in connection with any product or service other than ours, in any way that may cause confusion among users or that disparages or discredits our name or any other person or entity. All other brands that are not our property and that appear on the Website are the property of their respective owners, who may or may not be affiliated, linked or sponsored by us.

The license granted to you does not include, and specifically excludes, the rights to: resell or make commercial use of the website or any content, collect and use product lists, descriptions or prices; make any use derived from the website or content, download or copy account information for the benefit of any other person, or use any form of data transmission, robots or similar collection and extraction tools. Any unauthorized use of our website, its content and / or our programs, automatically terminates the license, seal, membership, certification or accreditation granted. You are granted a limited right to modify the size of the logo we grant with our membership or accreditation only for the purposes of this being adapted to your website or social networks; however, both the hyperlink (link) and the title and description must be kept intact.

7. Membership and Accreditation Terms and Conditions

By sending the accreditation and/or the membership application, the applicant confirms and attests that: The data included in the form are valid and true.
Your membership will be valid for the term of the payment and the payment method under which you have subscribed, otherwise, it will be cancelled.
Also, you understand that if for some reason iCOEPS finds that you violated our Terms of Service your membership will be cancelled.
You know and understand that you can cancel your membership or accreditation anytime but accept that if there is any remaining time for the date that represents the validity of the membership, it could not be claim as a money refund.
iCOEPS does not offer a money refund unless it is specifically mentioned in the corresponding service, product or promo.
You accept that your profile picture could be used for promotional purposes of the iCOEPS since this contributes to its growth and to a greater exposure of your profile and our services.
By being a member of iCOEPS you agree that we can take photos and/or videos of your person either in live events, in online events or from your social networks for promotional purposes of both iCOEPS and its programs and for your own professional profile.
You undertakes to respect the seal that has been granted to you and to give it the honor treatment that it deserves and represents.
You take a serious commitment to know and follow the rules of our community in the private Facebook group.
You know and understand that it could be necessary to include some additional Terms and Conditions that can be electronically signed in a file that will be send through email or through third parties like DocuSign, or others. in that case you will have the right to read and accept these terms before electronically signing the document.
We are not responsible for the agreement in which you can enter with third parties such as insurers, schools and others.
Your are responsible for the accuracy of your profile page information. If you find something to be corrected or updated, you can send an email to us.
For members with the benefit of being featured on our homepage, it is understood that your photo will appear randomly as well as that of other members in a carousel of images that are rotating or in a similar way that allows the greatest possible exposure.
For members with the benefit of conducting webinars, those webinar should be schedule with a minimum spectrum of 30 days in advance and will depend on the availability of the media room.
For members with the benefit of promoting their services through our list, that promo should be schedule with a minimum spectrum of 8 days in advance and could be share the space in our newsletter with other promoted services.
As a Green, Gold, Blue or Team Member, you will not have the right to use our platform (websites, social networks, meetings or any other) to promote your courses unless those courses have been accredited by iCOEPS.
When you subscribe through PayPal or any other payment system, you accept that PayPal (or other payment system you authorized) will charge for your membership indefinitely during the period you keep your membership active and during the cycles you subscribe. Example 1: If you subscribe to the Monthly Green Membership, you will be charged every month in the amount that membership are (maybe US$11.99 each time). Example 2: If you subscribe to the Annual Gold Membership, you will be charged every 12 months in the amount that membership are (maybe US$143.88 each time).
If you wish to suspend your membership you must keep in mind the following observations: a) You can suspend the collection directly in your payment account (PayPal or other) before the renewal (monthly or annual) and you will not be entitled to a refund. In any case, the membership will remain valid for the time corresponding to the payment. b) You can write to iCOEPS and ask for the cancellation of your membership and it will be processed within the next 10 business days so you agree not to do so in less days to avoid the next charge to be made for breach of this part of the Terms which will not be refunded. c) If PayPal or any other payment system that you have authorized cannot deduct the corresponding funds for the renewal of your membership, it will be automatically canceled.
Although you can see a Spanish-language version of our website, you agree that the information and content of the members area and the affiliates area is mostly in English.
Although we offer an international service, you are responsible for complying with the laws of your field of services, your country or region and therefore, you declare that iCOEPS is exempt of any responsibility for such matter or for any claim that any client or student of you may have.

8. Protection Safeguards

You can configure your browser to accept, or not, the cookies you receive or for the browser to notify you when a server wants to save a cookie or delete them from your computer. You can find the instructions in the security settings in your web browser. You can also use the "Help" section that you will find in the toolbar of most browsers to change the settings of your computer, however, some of the features of our online services may not work or may be more complicated. Access if you reject all cookies. The most popular browsers allow you to activate a private mode through which cookies are always deleted after your visit. Depending on each browser, this private mode may have different names, below you can find a list of the most common browsers and the different names of this "private mode":
